I need to buy some mma shinpads, because I need to get back to training pretty soon. I was sparring with my training partner a couple days ago, and he kicked me really hard in the shin, and since then, it has just been horribly swollen and bruised. I don’t really want to go to the doctor for it, I just think it is just a deep bone bruise or something. I really just want to get back to fighting, and doing what I love. One day I hope to fight for a professional MMA league, and be a real mixed martial arts fighter, but I need to improve a lot more before that will be a possibility. I really want to figure out how to improve my technique, and I am thinking about taking some more classes of some different styles of martial arts, and thereby, become a more well rounded fighter.

The Most Colorful Fish Ever Caught in a Nasty Pond

I go fishing with my husband all the time. We like to fish in our lake off the boat – normally for carp with our carp tackle, but sometimes we go into town to fish with my husbands dad. We fish in his pond. It isn’t very big, and there can’t be that many fish in there, but I caught the prettiest fish last summer out of that pond. I’m not sure of the name of it, but I call it a little fatty. It was green with a bright yellow belly. It had whiskers like a catfish and was kind of short and fat. I have caught quite of few of those out of that pond. They like to swim on the bottom. My husband likes to catch pike up in the stream in town but I hate pike. Maybe something about teeth in a fish freak me out but I don’t care for that kind of fishing. We don’t eat our catches, but I have plenty of pictures.
